At Chesswood, we love to celebrate World Book Day! Everyone gets dressed up as their favourite book characters and we have a celebration assembly to share how much we enjoy reading.

World Book Day was created by UNESCO on 23rd April 1995 as a worldwide celebration of books and reading. It is marked in over 100 countries around the globe

This year, it took place on Thursday, 3^rd March and these are just a selection of the characters in school on that day.
