Chesswood Junior School

4HH - Cedar

Hello everyone!

friday 17th july

WEll done everyone! WE actually made it!

Welcome to the very last day of term and the last day of home learning.... well done!  We got there together!  It has been a pleasure to teach you all, whether it be in the class or from far away! I am super, super excited to be working with you all next year once again.  Please have a well deserved rest, have fun, enjoy the summer with your loved ones BUT don't forget to read!  Let's aim to start the new school year with loads of quizes to complete.  Timestables would be so useful for Year 5 so don't give up on TTrockstars (or any other online or offline games) and any IXL for year 4 would be amazing - a little (almost) every day would get you ready for the new year.

I wanted to share the Top Tens for the ENTIRE YEAR..... take a look in the Top 10s your name on there?

One last thing before I go, please do pop me an email to say hello at any point over the holidays - I do love to hear from you.

Please stay safe over the next 6 weeks

Mrs H xx

Monday 23rd March

It's Mrs Hamilton here!

I hope you're having a great day so far and have been enjoying the home learning. The Year 4 Team have spent a lot of time making activities for you to get involved in and I'd love to see photos/videos of you doing these and the work you have done.

I have had to find myself a Concentration Station so that I can focus on my work today. It's a bit messy already without all of you helping me keep it tidy and organised.  I would love to see your learning station at home. Have you made yourself a daily timetable to help you organise your day?

Have you decorated your learning book yet? Have some fun covering it today and then send me a photo in so I can post them on our class page. When you are doing the work from the daily learning plan, PLEASE remember to write the date and underline it so we can see when the work was done. Just like at school, take care with your presentation as this is your new school book! I know you don't have squared paper for maths but you can use the lines to help you lay your work out neatly. Remember to use a 6 lines or more rule so you are using all the space carefully in your book.

I look forward to hearing from you all.  Remember to email me with any questions, updates, photos and videos and I will load as many as I can onto this page so we can all see what we are doing.

Wishing you all the best!  Don't forget to check in to see our Word won't believe where we are already!!

Bye for now!
