We recognise that adopters, special guardians and carers undertake an exceptional role often far in excess of the demands of normal parenting (if there is such a thing!). Chesswood Junior School hosts carers meetings for  adopters, special guardians and carers with the following aims:

Provide:

·         a comfortable forum for discussion, sharing ideas and sign post to new possibilities.

·         opportunity for parents and carers to network and consider future arrangements

·         school leaders with a better understanding of your experience of Chesswood school and how this should be sustained or needs to be changed or improved to better meet the needs of adopted and looked after children and their families.
