As such, we believe we should be transparent regarding with the school community in relation to the school revenue and how we choose to structure its expenditure.

Current Financial Year RevenueThis report forms the basis of all confirmed and forecast revenue for the academic year. The revenue includes income from a range of sources, such as local authority formula funding; government grants and funding raised by Chesswood through its wrap around care programme. Consistent Financial ReportingClick on the image opposite to open or follow this LINK Data is typically available from December retrospectively for previous financial years. The user is able to compare and contrast all schools in England, either using DFE comparison schools or selecting individual schools of interest.

Financial Monitoring ReportSchool leaders produce a monthly monitoring report. As part of that information an oversight report is completed providing an overview of all cost centres and adjustments to the forecast of outturn (FOO). The forecast of outturn is an evidence based financial estimate determined by senior leaders to take advantage of arising opportunities or reduce risk of over extending the school budget. The school financial value standardClick on the image opposite to access government guidance for the school financial value standard or follow this LINK The schools financial value standard (SFVS) helps to provide schools with assurance that they are meeting the basic standards necessary to achieve a good level of financial health and resource management. The SFVS checklist asks a number of questions of governing bodies in six areas of resource management to provide assurance that the school is managing its resources effectively. This can be used to identify possible areas for change to ensure that resources are being used to support high-quality teaching and the best education outcomes for pupils.
